How does Laser Hair Removal Work?
The laser effectively disables unwanted pigmented hair follicles, thus impairing their
growth. Each treatment disables 20 – 40% of growing hair in the Anagen phase
(growth cycle). The Cool Glide Vantage Laser penetrates deeper into the skin where
hair roots reside, heating and disabling hundreds of hair follicles in less than one second. Additional treatments are necessary to catch all hairs when in the Anagen phase.
Is it Safe?
Cool Glide Vantage Laser has received FDA approval for all skin shades including tanned skin.
Is it Painful?
Patient may feel a split second discomfort, similar to plucking but much less than waxing or electrolysis.
Is it Permanent?
The Cool Glide Vantage Laser uses technology beyond other lasers and permanent hair reduction results with a series of treatments.
Who performs treatments?
Treatments are performed by a Certified Laser Trained Registered Nurse under the supervision of a board certified plastic surgeon.
