Watch Real Patient Get Injectable Rhinoplasty
The non-surgical rhinoplasty, also known as the “injectable rhinoplasty” or “liquid nose job”, is a medical procedure that utilizes injectable fillers to transform your profile and the shape of your nose without any invasive surgery, often times making the nose appear smaller and more proportioned. Our doctors and injection specialists use their artistic technique to correct curves and bumps by filling in the surrounding area and improving the appearance of the nose to your liking.
The injectable fillers most commonly used are hyaluronic acid based, such as Restylane and Juvederm. This procedure is fully customized to each patient depending on their desired look and the provider’s recommendation. Additionally, it is important to consider what a non-surgical rhinoplasty cannot address, which would include narrowing the nasal tip, modifying the nostrils or slimming the nose at the base, which can all be discussed at consultation with either our plastic surgeons or injection specialists.
Who is a Candidate for a Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty?
- You are considering a surgical rhinoplasty and want to see what a potential result may look like.
- You’ve had a rhinoplasty somewhere else that needs “touch-ups” or corrections
- You want to improve the appearance of your nose without undergoing surgery
How Long Does it Last?
For most patients, making the life-changing decision to alter a prominent feature of your face can be difficult. One of the more appealing aspects of this procedure is that it is temporary like most cosmetic fillers, lasting anywhere from 6 months to 2 years, depending on the specific filler recommended for you. Patients have the opportunity to transform their perceived imperfections at their own pace, instead of jumping into a permanent and more drastic change with surgery.
What is the Recovery Like?
The recovery for the non-surgical rhinoplasty is minimal. For the procedure itself, the injections are nearly painless as we can provide topical numbing prior to injection. The total appointment time is about 30 minutes, and most patients can go right back to work, while expecting slight redness and minimal swelling. Like any injection, some patients may bruise, which can last 3-4 days. Applying ice for the first 24 hours can be helpful to reduce swelling. Generally, there is no downtime at all.
