Lip Filler Injections
Patients interested in enhancing their lips with filler injections should always consult with an experienced and highly qualified injection nurse to create a detailed injection plan. Communication of goals and expectations with your nurse is crucial in order to fully understand your treatment plan.
Our injection nurses are extensively experienced and skilled in filler injections, and always deliver a natural look. Our injection staff understands an approach to fillers that achieves the goal of enhancing the lips while not looking overfilled. We always err on the side of modest and conservative.
Oftentimes, building the lips with fillers takes multiple injection appointments rather than injecting too much in one visit, which is why it is so important to develop a relationship with your injection nurse. Not only is it important to be able to compare your last injection to see how the fillers responded or how much was used, but it is also crucial for your injection nurse who knows your ongoing plan.
When you schedule a filler injection consultation, you will meet with one of our phenomenal injection nurses (meet them here) for a Comprehensive Beauty Consultation. During your consultation you will be able to ask any questions or discuss anything with your nurse regarding services you are interested in, or even advice on how to get rid of this or that brown spot. Your nurse will provide you with all necessary information, an outline of their approach to your services as well as any relevant recovery and follow up information.
FAQ – Lip Fillers Frequently Asked Questions
How much do lip fillers cost?
Lip Fillers can cost between $500-2000 depending on a variety of factors, including which filler and the quantity of filler. We highly discourage getting lip injections at the cheapest place as lip injections are a serious procedure which requires extensive training and knowledge. It is not worth the risk to go anywhere but highly qualified injectors.
Who will be doing my injections?
We’re glad you asked because that is the most important question! You can meet our Injection Team here.
Which filler is right for me?
Various fillers can achieve different goals in different areas. Your Injection Nurse will recommend which filler is right for your situation and goals.
Can fillers be removed?
Yes, fillers can be removed by injecting Hyaluronidase into the area in order to dissolve the filler. Results are immediate however it may take a few days for other swelling to go down. We often see patients who are not happy with fillers from other offices and we work on dissolving their current filler with a plan to rebuild their lips.
How long do fillers last?
Different fillers last longer than others. For example, Juvederm and Restylane last about 6 months, while Volbella and Vollure last over 12 months. This is why developing a relationship with your Injection Nurse is crucial – based on your history, you may want to try other fillers.
Do lip fillers hurt?
Prior to injections, you will have topical numbing cream on your lips for about 15 minutes. Once the numbing takes effect, the injections will be a slight prick with pressure.
How long is the recovery?
After your injections, expect slight swelling and possible bruising for a few days. Most swelling and bruising is easily covered up with makeup.
